This Goddess, often misunderstood and her story maligned, represents reflection and seasons. She decided when winter fell or ice drew back. When lakes froze and animals went into slumber. Her appearance revealed the viewers inner moral. Some saw her as a hag, a fearsome witch, or a beautiful maiden. I saw her wise and enduring. Mindfully calculating the change of the seasons and the changes in me.
